Animation and Design Summer Camp Themes for 3rd to 8th Graders

In this cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence camp participants will explore and engage with new-age to learn, to build, and to develop. Learn about the design and programming behind modern digital assistant software like Alexa, Siri, and Cortana in this innovative camp. Learn to build a video game enemy brain like the Goombas in Super Mario, Creepers in Minecraft, or Slimes in Terraria. More advanced students can build their own artificial intelligence that will attempt to balance a ball or learn to avoid colliding into obstacles. No prior experience is required. We provide all technology on location. Campers will be thrilled to bring home their digital portfolio at the end of the week and continue to work on their AI creation or to share with friends or family. Embark on an EPIC adventure in two of the most exciting and impactful technologies within both the classroom and the workplace! Over the course of the camp users interact with image recognition software and Unity’s AR Kit. No prior experience is required. We provide all technology on location. Students explore programming fundamentals in a creative camp to bring their designs to life and share them with family and friends long after camp ends.

Create an interactive mobile game that’s controlled using your phone’s gyroscope! Design a maze filled with obstacles that the player must guide their character through. This course focuses on the unique advantages of the mobile platform for development, teaches students modern approaches in game design, and uses haptic and SFX feedback to enhance the game’s feel. Students walk away with a robust mobile app that can be downloaded by others and played on real smartphones.

My twin girls have never been so excited to come home and share what they have learned. I wish there were more STEM-like programs that incorporated such a creative mix of technology, creativity and fun. Now it’s off to buy a pair of drones!

If I knew what drone racing was before I sent Zachary to this camp I would have enrolled myself! Seriously though, great job everyone. You are a team of professionals dedicated to educating the future generation of entrepreneurs and engineers. See you in the summer.

Our kids are having a blast. The special guest from the film company was a huge hit in our household. We are committed to providing opportunities where our children may engage in the ever-so-evolving space of technology, so we appreciate the program you have developed.  You may have some budding drone filmmakers in the making.
