Using Your Brain To Control Your Drone In A Race
STEM Drone & UAV Summer Camps For Kids, Teens and High School Students
We have discussed drone racing plenty of times, but this posting is by far the most fascinating. We first read about this new technology on Peter Diamandis’s Abundance Insider blog (which we highly recommend you start following immediately). The University of Florida held the world’s first brain-controlled drone race. So what if the drones were travelling at an extremely slow pace. It is apparent that UofF is not trying to compete with the Drone Racing League anytime soon. That is not the point. The critical factor here is in the near future. For those who may be immobile or have a difficult time moving around, imagine being able to control your own drone to assist you in, well, whatever it is you are attempting to accomplish. Time to let your imagination run free on this one.
